Sabina Gault is the CEO of Konnect, an award-winning communications and marketing agency based in Downtown Los Angeles.
A seasoned and passionate PR and marketing practitioner, Sabina’s approach to client service, strategic communications, and measurable results are apparent in Konnect’s rapid rise from a startup to a mid-size agency with an average annual growth rate of 60 percent. With more than 50 employees across its Los Angeles, New York, and Austin, Texas offices, Sabina leads a team of dedicated staffers who provide a boutique-level of personal service combined with an adept ability to effectively build brands that has resulted in a long list of legacy clients.
As a working mother and the entrepreneur behind a WBENC-certified, women-owned business, Sabina has a passion for the challenges and rewards that stem from successfully balancing family and career. This passion is evident in Konnect’s relationships with brands that serve families and children, as well as its work with clients in the franchise space and the artisanal “better-for- you” food and beverage industry.

Sabina is a graduate of Berkeley and currently resides in Long Beach, California with her amazing husband and two children who keep her grounded and contribute to the motivation that drives her success.
Monica met Sabina in September of 2008 in a cold conference room on the corner of Wilshire Blvd. and La Brea and immediately thought she was crazy. Never had she seen so much energy, noise, intelligence and assuredness come out of one person all at once. Knowing immediately that this was something special, Monica took a chance and began working alongside Sabina in what quickly turned into a two-woman show.
Today, Monica acts as the Chief Operating Officer of Konnect PR, in which she finds solutions and offers insight to almost every large company decision. Her more than 10 years of experience allow her to strategize big picture plans that make a difference for clients and have greatly contributed to Konnect PR’s growth. A cool tempered, thoughtful, creative and intelligent leader, Monica sees her position as COO as part of who she is as a person. She whole-heartedly gives her time and energy to helping Konnect PR and its staff succeed and demonstrates an infectious love for what she does and the people she works with.
Prior to coming to Konnect PR, Monica played a crucial part in both English and Spanish-language campaigns for brands including Got Milk?, Cheerios, Delta and Nike, at agencies including PMK*BNC and RLPR. Her experience in PR spans across CPG, travel & hospitality, non-profit and personal publicity, and she is always eager to expand her knowledgebase. Monica is a graduate of the University of Southern California where she majored in public relations.
When she is not working, thinking about work, or attempting to work, Monica enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to new destinations, shopping, smothering her dogs Bowie and Glen Coco with love, trying new foods, shopping and watching USC Football.
As for her initial thought about Sabina being crazy… she was right. Crazy in the best possible way.
Carmen is an experienced, strategically focused PR and marketing executive with 20+ years of experience launching and establishing brand reputations. At Konnect Public Relations, she works with the management team to infuse her expertise in transforming industry insights into high-performing strategies and business growth into all accounts.
Carmen has helped corporations, destinations, entrepreneurs and start-ups navigate the cluttered media landscape to connect directly with consumers. Her comprehensive knowledge of a variety of client industries (tourism, tech, food & beverage, entertainment) and the tactics and disciplines required to have a voice in the brand marketplace have made her a standout resource for The Puerto Rico Tourism Company, Birds Eye Foods, Barilla, Starbucks, Kraft, Jazz at Lincoln Center, California Travel & Tourism Commission and others.
Prior to joining Konnect Public Relations, she was Head of Marketing Communications for Cupcake Digital, a developer of mobile apps for children. She was responsible for developing the company’s brand identify, crafting a communications presence via web and social media content, coordinating media relations strategies, mapping out advertising programs, fostering business and promotional partnerships and establishing the company’s leadership position in the industry.
At the top of Carmen’s accomplishment list is her precocious nine-year-old daughter, whose insights and opinions about what works and what doesn’t she can always count on to be spot on. Carmen is passionate about cooking, an avid runner and yoga enthusiast with a fondness for all things media. When she’s not participating in a race, experimenting in her kitchen, reading stacks of magazines or binge watching the latest Netflix series, she is most likely to be traveling and exploring places near and far.
Carmen graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Psychology.
With 10 years of public relations experience, Amanda has worked with clients both large and small in a variety of industries from publicly traded corporations in the TV/Entertainment space, to start-up companies in the beauty, lifestyle and beverage world. Notable former clients and campaigns include Evian, FRS, Neuro Drinks, WrinkleFree Eyes, Donate Life, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Foundation, Clinton Global Initiative, Rentrak, Thomson/Technicolor, and the Cineflex camera system that was used to film the groundbreaking BBC documentary series, Planet Earth.
Amanda spent the last seven years at Rogers & Cowan where she honed her media and client relations skills securing press in top national publications such as Forbes, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Entertainment Weekly, and WIRED. Understanding the importance of a well-placed story in regional outlets for established and emerging brands, Amanda develops strategic, comprehensive and measurable media strategies.
In her role as Managing Director, Amanda’s core responsibilities include organizing teams and accounts to achieve success for both clients, and individual employees. Amanda provides strategic client counsel and support to clients including The Goddard School, Sky Zone, Dave & Buster’s and more, while coaching staff to achieve their professional goals.
When not working alongside her upbeat, enthusiastic and incredibly hard-working team members, Amanda enjoys taking walks to the beach and playing in the surf and sand with her family. A voracious consumer of all forms of media, Amanda is adept at translating top trends in the news cycle into new and creative ways to help spread the word about the clients she works with.
Amanda received her B.A. with an emphasis in Public Relations from California State University, Fullerton and is incredibly lucky to live by the beach in Huntington Beach with her husband and son.
